A highlight of the Hague: a wonderfully curated little store. Reminds me of a Monocle shop or the independent boutiques in London or New York. Pop in for an espresso, fun banter about well-made clothing and some high quality, well-priced items. For example: my new Japanese Barbour tech jacket.

If good clothing, denim in particular, is something for you: a visit to this shop is feast. Jeroen will steer you through the best there is in indigo dipped garments and much, much more. He knows his way in the best brands around the world, and he is happy to share his knowledge with you. A must visit.

For me a visit to The Hague isn't complete without visiting Store du Nord. Good quality and beautiful items from brands the store owner Jeroen can tell very passionate about, not the dreary drab you'll find in the main streets. If you're looking for something a tad different and sustainable that doesn't cost you an arm and a leg you should definitely visit Store du Nord. Wander around the shop and strike up a conversation with Jeroen, it's really fun.

If you want to visit a store of the highest standards, where you are likely to learn something you didn’t know and find articles that you didn’t know you had to have until you see and touch them, then this is the place. Jeroen is probably the most knowledgeable person I have met when it comes to denim. This place oozes quality! I love everything that I have purchased here and plan to keep doing so.

Store du nord is hands down one of my favourite places in Den Haag. What makes it so very special is the man behind the brand. With the intention of mindful dressing, focusing on durable and timeless clothes, I chanced upon Store du Nord a few years ago . Jeroen, the mind behind this venture is knowledgeable and passionate about his work. I make it a point, when around, to drop by the store mostly to admire its content and periodically take a well crafted item home to cherish for many years. Highly recommended.

I live in the U.S. and it was strictly by chance (and my good fortune) to have discovered Store Du Nord whilst searching for a particular hard to find Japanese clothing brand( Black Sign). Ever since I have become a huge enthusiast of Store Du Nord and Jeroen. I have purchased many items from men’s clothing stores throughout Europe and Asia for many years and consider myself a very experienced shopper. Store Du Nord is truly a gem which emphasizes quality over quantity. They carry some lesser known smaller brands that are absolutely top notch in quality. Every item in the store is personally selected by Jeroen who has excellent taste and is very detail oriented. He is incredibly knowledgeable about his products including construction, fabrics, and sizing, etc. Jeroen is a very professional, friendly, and kind individual who never pressures a person to buy an item. He promptly responds to all messages. In this day and age where personal service has been lost due to the ease of buying anywhere in the world over the internet and never dealing with a person, Store Du Nord( Jeroen) preserves the feeling of a brick and mortar store for me thousands of miles away. I cannot sing the praises of Jeroen and Store Du Nord highly enough. It sets the benchmark and is the best of the best in my opinion.

Best t-shirt shopping experience I have had for quite some time, maybe ever. The dude is very chill and welcoming. It’s been around a month, and the shirt I bought still look and feel perfect. Will have to stop by and stock up on basics next time I’m in Haag.
